Roslyn Cargill was born and raised on a farm outside Farwell, TX. She attended Lubbock Christian University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry in 2001. During her time at LCU, Roslyn traveled the United States and abroad, singing with the University Acappella Chorus and the ensembles, Chamber Singers and Best Friends. For several years during her time in Lubbock, she also worked as an intern with the Vandelia Village Church of Christ youth group. Roslyn moved to Southern California in the fall of 2004 to work as the youth minister of the University Church of Christ and is married to Robert Cargill.

Corinne Le serves as the Children’s Minister, serving with families in the spiritual growth of their children.  Corinne received her B.A. and teaching credential from Pepperdine University, where she also met her husband, Hung. She taught kindergarten and first grade for eight years. She took a break from the classroom to raise a family. Hung and Corinne have four sons. Both Hung and Corinne have enjoyed serving the children of the University Church since they were students at Pepperdine to the present time. Corinne loves being part the lives of the children she serves.  She enjoys seeing the children grow “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Corinne also works at the local elementary school as an instructional aide. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, serving on the board for Malibu AYSO, and managing her eldest son’s club soccer team. 

Rich Little, our new preaching minister, joins us from the Chicago area where he formerly taught at Wheaton College and preached for the Naperville Church of Christ since 2001. Born and raised in Australia, Rich was brought up in the Anglican and Catholic traditions before his family began regularly attending the Gospel Hall (Plymouth Brethren) church. Rich was later baptized as a teenager in the Churches of Christ. Rich’s ministry focuses on reconnecting people to the heart of Jesus and he encourages every member of the church to participate in this work. He believes that the best way to achieve this lies in “seeing the face of God in our neighbor and responding with kindness and justice.” He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and Bible, and a Ph.D. in education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. Rich married his college sweetheart, Heather Troutwine, in 1995. They share a love of running and travel, having visited over forty countries. He also enjoys reading and writing and is an ardent collector of early English bibles. He and Heather have four children,
Annie, Shelby, William, and Claire.

Linda Truschke was raised in Fillmore, CA, a small town just 45 minutes north of Pepperdine.  She attended the Pepperdine Malibu Campus where she received her B.S. in Organizational Communication (’86) and her M.S. in Ministry (’97). Linda has been a Campus Minister for the University Church and Pepperdine since 1998. Previously she worked through the University as Associate Director of Residential Life. Linda is married to Michael Truschke, Director of Admission at Seaver College. They have two children, Justin and Eric. They live on campus, making it very convenient for Linda to work closely with her students. Linda’s favorite things are playing, wrestling and cuddling with her sons and seeing God transform the lives of students on this campus.
